Harikatora Temple

Overview


Harikatora Temple is situated in Vaishali of Bihar. It is supposed to have been built during the Gupta period. This temple was structured by a great saint Khaki Baba in about 1804-05. The highpoint here is an image of Lord Kartikeya made of black stone, which is in a sitting posture on a peacock. This temple is in a ruined state now. Bawan Pokhar Temple is nearby.
