Meaning:
I pray to Goddess Saraswathi, who is as white as the Jasmine flower, as cool as the moon, as bright as the snow and who shines like a pearl necklace and is dressed in pure white,
Who holds the Veena and a staff that grants boons, sitting on a white lotus,
Who Lord Brahma, Lord Acyuta (Lord Vishnu) Lord Shiva and other devas adore,
O Goddess Saraswathi, please safeguard me and obliterate my ignorance.
