The temple named Sri Vanmikinathar Shiva Temple is situated in Cheyyur at Kanchipuram district. The ambal here's observed in Lakshmi swaroopam (in other temples you will notice in Sakthi swaroopam) with Padhmam and Neelothbalam in her own hands. This temple is really a sculptural gallery and you'll see exquisite designs and carvings right in front of the mandapam. During the rainy season, the sanctum of Shiva will be filled with water until the avudayar and just top portion would be seen above the water (still poojas will occur).
