Tikkacharya found this 200-year-old temple of Mahadev situated very close to the river Godavari. The temple has two idols, one of Krsna and the other of Hanuman. Adjacent to the south bank of the river in a temple dedicated to Maruti. The temple is built in the Hemadpanti style and the inner shrine containing the linga is pitch dark.
