Mahadev Samasthanam

Though the temple of Mahadev was built 50 years ago, the idols of Mahadev, Ganapati and Nandi are said to be older than 250 years. A compound wall encloses the temple and it also has a massive wooden gate fixed in a stone frame. Beautiful green creepers envelop the gate and the frame. The Nandi, carved out of pure white marble, is mounted on a pedestal measuring 0. 45m X 0. 91m and faces the ling in the shrine. A dome about 40' from the ground encloses the shrine. The premises of Sri Mahadev Samastha accommodate the Vitthal-Rakhuma temple also.
