The Ratnagiri Bala Murugan temple is situated at Vellore district in Tamil Nadu. The main deity is seen on a chariot made from granite. There are 2 temples dedicated to Lord Vinayaga - one on the hill and another at the bottom of the hill. The Lord is adorned with jewels made from gold, silver and precious stones. The Garbhagriha is modeled as per the Chola architecture. Lord Muruga presides as Lord Thirukkolam (with his consorts Valli and Theivanai) and Lord Gurukkolam (Swami Balamurugan Adimai).
