This famous temple, associated with Lord Vishnu, was constructed in 12th Century. A large idol of Lord Vishnu made of 'Kasauti' stone is located inside the temple. Ramleela is organized during Dushehra festival here and the procession is grand and in a very traditional way and it fetches a large tourist gathering. Idols of the deities of major shrines of Hindus-viz. Badrinath, Jaganathpuri, Dwaraka & Rameshwaram are installed in the four corners of the temple.
