Venkataramana Temple

Overview


Sri Venkataramana Temple is located at Kallianpur village about six km from Udupi state of Karnataka. On the banks of 'Suvarna' river enshrines Sri Venkataramana Devaru. This temple has a history of nearly 500 years. The Simhasana of the Temple Sanctorum in the temple has three divisions.


About The Temple


Kallianpur has a celebrated Sri Venkatramana temple, which is thought to be around 350 years of age. There are no regular flights from other major cities of the country to Kallianpur. Nearest airport is Bajpe Airport. Kallianpur does not have a train station. Nearest option is Udupi. One can easily get regular buses to Kallianpur from other major cities of the country.
