Nandivaram temple is situated around half a kilometer from east of Guduvancherry bus stand and it is an old Thevara reference temple. Built during the Pallava Emperor Nandivarman period in 715AD, Pali worshiped this temple and the temple is referred in the Appar's song as Nandikecchhuram.
