Someshwar Temple

Dated back to the Pesva time, this recently renovated temple has a small courtyard and the nagarkhana is located above its entrance. 3 pillars, forming 3 arches on each side, support the sabhamandap. The elegantly carved entrance door is lower than usual and images of various deities are carved at the base. There is a continuous flow of water under the Shivaling in the gabhara. Though the two water ponds in front of the gabhara overflow during the monsoon, the Shivaling is never completely submerged. Behind the Shivling are two Parvati idols and the Nandi occupies its usual position in the mandap.
