Overview
The Mahadev Temple is located at Pangari in the beautiful town of Yavatmal at Maharashtra. The deity of God Shiva is worshiped at this temple which is believed to be a part of an ancient 1100 year old Hemadpanthi Temple of Kedareshvara. The temple is constructed at the centre of the town and consists of a sabha mandap installed in the year 1915. The entrance of the temple comprises of an ornamented large linga symbol with a deep pit in the centre. A separate shrine is built for God Kedareshvara while the deity of Nandi is placed on the pedestal. The deity of God Shankara is created of brass depicting eleven hooded cobras sheltering the God. This deity is placed on one of the niches built near the pedestal.

The devotees can reach the temple either by arriving at the nearest airport of Sonegaon at Nagpur that is 140kms away from the temple or railway station of Dhamgaon which is 40kms away from the temple. The devotees can also reach Pulgaon railway station as it is 45kms away from the temple. Frequent road transport is available to the temple from Yavatmal town.
