Situated on top of a hill, the shrine of the Khandoba temple has 3 ft idols of Khandoba and Mhalsabai. Five lingas are also kept in the front of the shrine. And fifty ft down the temple are 3 water cisterns. It was reported in the old Ahmednagar District Gazetteer that lightning had struck the temple in 1884 but hadn't materially damaged the building. It is also said that on the bright sixth of Margashirsha and Pausha (December-February), hook swinging was practiced.

Meaning -According to this sloka, the entire world doesn't recognize the eternal God beyond them, because they are consumed by the elements of satva, rajas and tamas (good, obssessive and dark).

Meaning -According to this sloka, the heavenly maya of God is very complicated, but those who worship God will be able to overcome it.
