Overview
Sri Govardhan Nath Ji Temple is situated in the Jaipur district of Rajasthan, India. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna,an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
About the diety
The presiding deity of this temple is Lord Krishna, also known as Sri Govardhan ji. The Lord graces here as child Krishna whose vigraha is black stoned and has grey tinges of pigeons feathers.
About the Temple
The Diwan of Jaipur was a staunch devotee of Lord Bala(child) Krishna. Hence he installed the vigraha of Lord Krishna here in his child form. Worship rituals are followed in accordance to the Vallabha sect of Sri Vaishnavas. Pooja rituals are performed 8 times a day for the deity, which is also called as Ashtayam Pooja, are followed in this temple at Jaipur.
Rare Fact
The temple follows the Mughal style of architecture with a magnificent entrance gates. Open chowks (market) and a spacious Jagmohan (prayer hall) are the other attributes of this beautiful shrine.

Janamashthami, Radhashtami, Annakuta and the prominent festivals celebrated here, in addition to other festivals pertaining to Sri Vaishnavism.

The temple follows traditions and customs of the Vallabha sect of Sri Vaishnavas. Since Lord Krishna graces here as Bala Krishna, the dishes offered to the Lord are mostly sweet and less spicy, which are liked by a child.
