Overview
Sri Iyyappa Temple, Kathipura, Jaipur is ideally located near the prestigious Vaishaali Nagar and Army areas. The affairs of the Temple are managed by Sri Iyyappa Sewa Bhajana Samiti (Regd.). The Temple attracts a large number of people, particularly, on Saturdays and other special days. Among others, Makar Vilakku or Makar Sankranti and Anniversary day of Pranapratishta are most auspicious days of celebration. On all Saturdays and other important days, special Poojas, Bajana/Satsang and Annadhanam are conducted in the Temple.
The main deity is Lord Iyyappa and Upadevadas are Ganesh and Devi. The consecration ceremony was performed on 27th of April, 1995 by Brahmashri Sridharan Namboothiri.
