Dhavaleswar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is one of the prime attractions of the district. During the month of Kartika, on the full moon day, numerous devotees visit this temple to pay homage to the God. Dhavaleswar Temple is situated at Belkhandi in Kalahandi District of Orissa.
