Overview : A secret Batuk Bhairav Temple dedicated to Kala Bhairav is located in Devghat, Nepal.Batuk Bhairav is a manifestation of God Shiva and the Linga can be found beneath the shelter of the Peepal tree.Several Poojas and Homams are conducted at this temple as it is well known for getting rid of the malicious effects of Rahu and Saturn (Shani) such as health issues, strains in relationships, job related tension and various other hardships.Thus,rituals conducted at this temple are highly valuable to those going through Rahu or Shani Maha Dasa and are seeking to rid themselves of its vile effects. Trying to think of a remedy for their misfortune, all the gods gathered in one spot when a dazzling flash of light dashed out from their forms and was manifested as Batuk Bahirav who killed the atrocious demon.Thus, the child acquired the name Aapat Uddharak Batuk Bhairav
