Sammakka Saralamma Temple

Sammakka Saralamma Temple Warangal is one of the oldest tribal temples of Andhra Pradesh. It is famous for the celebration of the tribal Jathra. It is held in the dense forests of Medaram in Eturnagaram mandal in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh. A huge number of pilgrims visit the place to receive the grace of mother Goddesses Sri Sammakka and Saralamma. The most important and major ritual in this fair is offering of Bangaram which represents Jaggery. The belief is that since a person cannot offer gold equal to their weight to the Goddess, they offer jaggery to the Goddess. The Goddess is believed to be fond of sweets. The vibrant and colorful bullock carts are the main attractions at the fair and one must take a holy dip or Pavitra Snanam in Japanna Vagu which is considered auspicious during the occasion.

Meaning -According to this sloka, the entire world doesn't recognize the eternal God beyond them, because they are consumed by the elements of satva, rajas and tamas (good, obssessive and dark).

Meaning -According to this sloka, the heavenly maya of God is very complicated, but those who worship God will be able to overcome it.
