It is believed that Yakambari from Komptee community built this Hemadpanti Muralidhar temple around 350 years ago. It is believed that robbers looking for precious stones and metals broke in at the temple around 70 years ago and broke the original idol and a new idol was placed around 60 years ago. The temple also has a large 35’X35’ well.
