Overview
Located to the west of the town of Washeem is the temple of Gudeshwar, much in a dilapidated condition. Washeem is a district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Washeem known earlier as Vatsagulma was the seat of power during Vakatak dynasty. Washeem is also known as Basi, an Arabic name that means "the one that smiles".
Within the temple one can find three idols, that of Lord Vishnu, his sister and his consort Laxmi. Beside the temple is a garden which makes the whole atmosphere of the temple extremely beautiful.
