The Baba Ramesvara Temple located near River Tel & Mahanadi, Sonepur, Odisha is dedicated to God Shiva. The presiding diety a patalaphuti Shiva linga is situated within a circular Yonipitha. The temple is built in the Chauhan style of architecture and is decorated with Pidhamundi design. The temple has a Udyotasimhas on each Raha and a Gajakranta Motif on the frontal Raha. The temple also houses the images of Kartikey, Saraswati, etc.. The temple is built with Granite stones on the lower half and the upper half is in bricks.
