Kurma Dwadashi

Kurma Dwadashi Vrat is committed to the Kurma or tortoise incarnation of Hindu God Vishnu. It is seen on the twelfth day amid the waxing period of moon in Paush month according to customary Hindu lunar date-book – Poush Shukla Paksha Dwadashi. The prevalent view is that undertaking this Vrat helps in recovery of sins furthermore helps in the way of Moksha.
