Chandra Grahan

Lunar eclipse or Chandra Grahan occurs two or three times a year. Chandra Grahan is observed only on the full-Moon day. It happens when Moon comes directly behind the earth, under its shadow in our solar system. There are different positions of Moon (Chandra) and earth, in our solar system that are responsible for lunar eclipse (Chandra Grahan).
