Lunar eclipse or Chandra Grahan happens a few times each year. Chandra Grahan is watched just on the full-Moon day. It happens when Moon comes specifically behind the earth, under its shadow in our nearby planetary group. There are distinctive places of Moon (Chandra) and earth, in our nearby planetary group that are in charge of lunar overshadowing (Chandra Grahan).
