Overview
Perumukkal is a little town in Tindivanam taluk in Villuppuram district in Tamil Nadu. In Perumukkal, there are two sanctuaries, one at the foot hills and the other on the peak. Saleeswarar sanctuary is devoted to God Shiva which has a self-showed god (swayambu lingam) at the foot hills.
