Ashtami is a special day devoted to Lord Kala Bhairava. The eighth day after full/ No moon day is known as Ashtami, the most auspicious day to worship Lord Kala Bhairava. Kala Bhairava is the God of Time – Kal means ‘time’ and ‘Bhairava’ the manifestation of Shiva.
