Uma Maheshwara Temple

Hidden by a stone wall, this east facing temple has a large wooden outer hall that has a handsomely carved ceiling. Lord Shiva is in the middle, flanked by Ganga and Parvati to the right and left respectively are made of black marble and are 2 ft tall. It is believed that the Marathas brought these idols from Karnatak during one of their expeditions. Trimbakrav Vishvanath Pethe, the hero of Panipat, built this temple in 1758.
