The Tiru Vazh Marban Temple is located in Tirupatisaram and is dedicated to God Tiru Vazh Marban. The Saptha Rishis are said to have performed intense worship in Suseendraa. The God appeared before them in the form of God Shiva. The sages then went to the Soma Theertha Ghat to see God Vishnu. The God graced them and granted their wish that he should stay in this place as the God of Wisdom. This temple is one among the 108 Divya Desas and the sacred avathar place of Saint Nammalvar and his mother. Since Mother resides in the chest of the God, there is no separate shrine dedicated to her. The God wears a gold chain with a pendant that has the figure of Mother Meenakshi.
