Sri Thirunageshwarar Temple

About the Temple:The Sri Thiru Nageswarar is located in Thiruchendur and is a Swayambu Lingam. It is one of the Murugan temples that has been revered by Arunagirinathar’s Thiruppugazh. Murugan appears with a single face with four hands in a standing posture along with a peacock.

Meaning -We worship the fragrant Lord Shiva, who has 3 eyes and who cultivates all beings. May He free me from death, for immortality, as even a cucumber is separated from its bond with the vine.
