About The Deity

Legend and Stories

Kethavaram was named after the King Ketha Varma who governed this district. Kethavaram is likewise called as Kaataaram or Kethaaram in the sacred writings. Once, amid the rule of KethaVarma, the Lord showed up in the fantasy of a Yadava King who administered a close-by area and let him know about His(Lord's) nearness in the slope of Kethavaram.
