Overview


Sitaram Jee Temple is located in Nawalgarh, Rajasthan. It is part of the Shekhawati region and is midway between Jhunjhunu and Sikar. It is 30 km from Sikar and 39 km from Jhunjhunu. Sitaram Jee Temple is dedicated to Lord Rama and his wife Sita.


About The Temple


This 18th century temple is situated about 40 km away from Jhunjhunu and has regular bus services operating in and out of it. This old temple has a pinnacle that resembles an inverted lotus. Marble tiles decorate the walls of this temple and the garbagriha has a Shivlinga idol placed on top of an elevated structure.

The nearest airport is Jaipur International Airport. Nawalgarh is connected through broad gauge railway line and situated on the Sikar-Loharu railway line section. The roads leading to Nawalgarh are strong metaled roads, which make travelling via roadways immensely favourable. State run buses are available from the cities of Jaipur and Bikaner.
