Overview
Sri Sita Ram Mandir is a Hindu shrine located at Galta Ji, in the Jaipur district of Rajasthan, India. This temple is devoted to Lord Rama and Maa Sita.
About the deity
The presiding deities of this temple are Lord Ram and Maa Sita whose vigrahas are made up of Ashtadhatu (alloy of eight metals). One another idol of Lord Sri Ram made of Black stone is also housed in the temple.
About the Temple
The worship of Lord Rama is widespread in India, especially in the northern states of the country. Several temples are found across North India propagating Rama Bhakthi. This Sri Rama temple is one such prominent Peetha (seat) following Sri Vaishnava traditions, that was formulated by Sri Ramanuja. According to Sri Vaishnavism, by realising the God or Brahman, one can realise everything else in this world.
The present structures of this shrine were designed by Acharya Narayan Dev Ji Maharaj, the fifth Acharya of this Peetha, during the reigns of Mirza Raja Jaisingh of Amer. The architecture of this temple is a fine blend of Mughal and Jaipur styles. Fine drawings, rich decorations and flower like patterns adorns the temple walls and entrance gate.

The temple stands as a majestic architectural master piece. In addition to this, a tunnel has been built connecting the surrounding hills that are covered by green fields.
