This old Shiva temple is situated next to a spring that constantly flows into a kund. The water from this spring is carried by devotees and taken to the Sirpur village about 50 km away. These devotees, called 'Bolbum Kawariya' carry this water in two pots and tie them to both ends of a stick and keep chanting 'Bolbum' through the entire 50 km.
