According to an inscription on the eastern face of the outer wall, the sabhamandap and a rest house were built by Narayanrav Yamaji in Shaka 1767 (1845). At the foot of a pipal tree about 13 meters south of the rest house, is a 4-armed Maruti, that women circumabulate and light lamps made of wheat paste, in the hope of becoming pregnant.
