This natural rock temple is situated at an altitude of 2286 mts and the Baitarini River flows behind it. Lord Shiva is worshipped as Neelkantha Mahadev at this temple. Suryakund, Chandrakund and Tarakund, three holy tanks, are situated close to the temple. The temple offers a beautiful view of Hathi Parvat, Nanda Devi peak and Trishul peak. One has to reach Sagar village, from Gopeshwar that has a 4 km motorable road that connects them. From this village, one can reach the temple by a 20 km trek through thick forests.
