This is a temple dedicated to Lord Ranganatha which is built in Vijayanagar style and this temple has an attractive idol of Lord Ranganatha. There is some interesting architecture inside the temple pillars in Vijaynagar style. One can find Rangasthala which is situated at a distance of 3 kms from Chickballapur town. The stone statue of Vishnu is simply splendid. The black stone sculpture carved in the Vijaynagar style is best viewed when there are no other visitors to the temple. The temple priest is more than willing to accommodate a special viewing for a small consideration offered to the deity.
