This temple is one among the major Krishna temples built by the Kayamkulam king. The temple which is under the Travancore Devasom Board faces towards the west and is situated in the Kayamkulam town. The Sreekovil is in circular shape and its idol is peculiar because it has "Chathur Bhahukal (Four Hands)". The other deities in the temple include Lord Siva, Lord Ganapathy, Lord Ayyappa and Lord Subrahmanya with His consorts Valli-Devayani. The other features of the temple are Namaskara Mandapam, Nalambalam, Thidappally, Balikalpura, Sadyalayam and Aanapanthal.
