Overview : The Narasimhar temple is located in Karisoozhndha Mangalam near Thirunelveli in Tamil Nadu. The Malayala Namboothris preserves this temple. Even though it is located in an isolated place, it is very popular among some people nearby even for its small structure. The chief divinities are God Chakrathazhwar, also known as Narasimhar. In the front side, the urchava idol is Venkatesa Perumal. It is 1000 years old temple and around 30 permanent Garuda sevas are conducted every year without including temporary ones. When the Garuda sevas are conducted the temple is kept open till evening from early morning. A sacred Tamirabarani bathing ghat is present in the side of the temple. God Narasimhar having chakra in all of his four hands is the speciality of the temple.
