The Mayilerum Perumal Sastha Temple is located in Srivaikundam and is dedicated to God Mayilerum Perumal. The deity is a form of God Muruga and is seen with his vahans peacock, elephant, horse and dogs. Sudalai is the guarding deity in the temple. The other idols are those of God Vinayaka, Nagaraja, Veerabadrar, Perumal, Nallamadasami. The temple is under the management of Senaithalaivar community. There are idols of God Vinayaka, Nagaraja, Veerabadrar, Perumal wearing corpse garland, Nallamadasami, in the temple. The temple is under the management of Senaithalaivar community.
