Mahalingeshwar Temple

Originally Yallampalli is called as Yajnampalli, the village where Yajna performed. One can see Yajnakunda and Yajna Vedike to the west of the temple inside rubber plantation. Centuries old Mahalingeshwara temple was renovated and also Shree Mahaganapathi idol was installed recently. Yallampalli is about 3 kms to the East of Neelavara on the banks of the river Sita.

Meaning -We worship the fragrant Lord Shiva, who has 3 eyes and who cultivates all beings. May He free me from death, for immortality, as even a cucumber is separated from its bond with the vine.
