Situated about 25 kms from Udupi, via Perdoor, Shri Mahalasa Narayani Devi Kshetra is a beautiful temple dedicated to Shri Mahalasa Narayani. Shri Mahalasa is another name for Lord Vishnu's incarnation, Mohini. The temple is unique in its way, offering the devotees a feeling of entering a spiritual resort. The temple was originally conceived as a community hall for devotees and later developed into the temple. There is a Hanumanshrine situated opposite to the main temple. Though the temple appears to be on a tower, the idol is exactly on the same level as Shri Mahalasa's idol in the main temple.
