Mahakali Temple

Situated in the heart of the town, this temple depicts Goddess Mahakali in all her ferociousness. The 3' tall Mahakali has five arms and is shown riding a tiger. One of the Goddess' left arms holds a demon's head and another left arm holds a sword while one of the right arms holds a trishul. Many severed heads are also shown scattered below the Goddess' feet. 5 steps lead to the Goddess' shrine. A few dazzling ornaments grace the Goddess.
