Mahadev Ji Ka Mandir is situated in Salumbar town. Salumbar is a small town and a municipality in Udaipur district, Rajasthan,India. It was ruled by the Chundawat Sisodia rajputs of Mewar. This temple is devoted to Lord Shiva.
About The Temple
This west-facing temple is located in the Salumbar bus stand in Udaipur and has regular bus services operating in and out of it. The shikhara of the temple has two amalakas and exquisite floral designs decorate the lintel of the garbagriha. A dome inspired by the imperial Mughal style crowns the temple's mandapa and a stone idol of the Nandi stands facing the main deity.
Dabok Airport, also known as Maharana Pratap Airport is the closest at about 25 km northeast of the city centre. There are daily flights from Delhi and Mumbai on Jet Airways, Air India and SpiceJet.
