The idol of Madan Mohanji is enshrined in the temple. The idol is 150 years old and the pooja is performed strictly in Pushtimargi tradition.
About the Temple
The temple was built in the tradition of Shuddhadwaita Pushtimarga Sampradya of Shri Ballabhacharyaji for Ashtayam Pooja of Shri Madan Mohan ji (Lord Krishna), this temple was built. The meaning of Madan Mohan, he who can enchant Madan or the God of Love. Pushtimarg, Ballabh Sampradya Samptam peeth or the seventh seat of Pushtimarg.
Like all temples of Pustimarg, this temple is also built in the haveli style of architecture. It has a garbha griha, mandap, big chowk and other houses. It has been said that this is a Pushtimargi temple in the tradition of Ballabhacharyaji. So essentially this is a temple of Lord Krishna. All Hindus especially Vaishnavas, worship the deity.

The temple is the seventh seat of Shuddhadwaita Pushtimargi Sampradaya of Shri Ballabhacharya.

All festivals are celebrated here, but those related to Lord Krishna are celebrated with greater gaiety. Janmasthami, Radha Asthami, Gopasthami, Hindola, Holi etc. are celebrated. Ashtayam Pooja is offered and compositions of Shri Asthachhap poets are sung.
