Overview
The deity of God Shiva is worshipped at the holy Kapileshwar Temple which is located at Mudawad village in Dhule, Maharashtra. The village is situated in the Shindkheda Tehsil of the Dhule District in India. This sacred temple was built in the 17th century by the Queen of Indore named Ahilyabai Holkar. It was constructed near the convergence of two rivers- Panzara and Tapti.
