The Kalyanasundareswarar Temple is a Hindu temple located at Thiruvelvikudi in the Kuthalam taluk of Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu, India. It is dedicated to Shiva. This is the 77th Devaram Paadal Petra Shiva Sthalam and 23rd sthalam on the north side of river Cauvery praised in Thevaram hymns.
About the Temple
The temple is facing east. Lingodbhavar, Chandrasekhara and Ardhanaareeswarar ( different from others – parvathy on the right side – right paathi) adorn the outer walls of the main sanctum.
