Hariharapura town is renowned for the two main temples, the Hari temple and the Hara temple. The Hara temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is believed to have been built around 400 years ago, on the shores of the Tunga river. The other major attraction of the town is an ancient bridge which is believed to have been around for more than 110 years. This bridge is constructed across the Tunga river and connects Hariharapura to Koppa.
