Uchangidurga is located 30 kms from Davangere on the Annaji route. It's a historic place that has an old fort. Adjacent to Uchangidurga there is a village called Karadidurga (Land of Bear). It is believed that Sri Hanuman temple in the village was worshipped by the bears in fort.
