The Hanuman Temple located at Agara Village is a major attraction for not only the people of Agara but also for the residents of HSR Layout. The statue of the presiding deity that stands 102 feet tall was built four years back. It is placed on the lotus carved in stone and is beautifully painted. About 100 devotees visit the temple every day. The temple also has an idol of Nag Devata placed under the peepal tree. Hanuman Jayanti, Sankranti and Ram Navami are the major events celebrated. "Havan" also is performed and food and Prasad are distributed to all the devotees. Almost 6, 000 devotees visit the temple on these occasions.
