Raja Prithvi Dev, the Kalchuri King, built this temple in 1170, with Lord Hanuman as the presiding deity. The Hanuman idol here has Lord Ram sitting on his shoulders. A Vridheshwar Nath Mandir is situated on the other side of Ram Tekri.
