Overview


Gangoli ka Shiva Temple is situated around 10 km from Allahabad railroad station in new Jhusi, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. This sanctuary was developed by Tiwari Ganga Prasad (Nick Name Gangoli). He was the local of Agra. The cost of development in 1800 AD was around 1.25 lakh. The stone cutting work of the sanctuary merits appreciating. Numerous miniatures of various divine beings and scenes from different legendary stories have been cut out on the columns and dividers of the sanctuary which look superb.
